He has been working SO hard in the American Heart Association contest at work...exercising/counting steps...he actually swam a total of 80 miles last month...
well---he WON with a total of over 3 MILLION steps in I cant remember 6 or 8 week period. Seems I never saw him...though he had a mistress that wore chlorine perfume...

yep josef woke up to 2 inches snow on the ground..yep weather looking just swell... I've packed basically everything bike related I own.

Then again, I don't think there will be knee deep stream crossings like Hellgate.
Another concern is will I be able to open gel packs with fangs? and will black lipstick protect my lips from chaffing? Does fake blood have enough carbs to last a long ride? we shall see bwahahaha

Yes-4 ordered.Can't believe I did not know that! He was sooooooo interesting--said he was hired 3 days before production and they did not rehearse at all for the season opener.

I met him in Harvard Sq and he was doing a reading that night...

Spoiler alert: (can't wait to see it now!) Someone asked him how he prepared for the role of 'Trinity' as so different from Dick Solomon...(he did politely remind that he also does lots of theater in NYC, and btw I was yesterday and met Meredith Viera but that is another story)

Mr. Lithgow said, well as we had NO rehearsal time at all, how I 'prepared' was I took off all my clothes and got into a bathtub full of blood with an 18 yr old. (think I got that right? haven't seen it yet)

He was, "a delight"

Now I have to meet Christopher Walken and Steve Buscemi. You think maybe they do triathlons? *

* weak attempt to inject triathlon into this post...though David Duchovny does. I had a crush on him in the 90s but now just seems really skeevy, but not in a good way.

Oh, Schep....Season 4 is by far the BEST all because of John Lithgow's character!! It may be the best season of any show ever, in my opinion! Get caught up quick so you can watch it. The bad thing is that they will probably never be able to top that season. So good....

Geez that was hard - - (whoa shep:) I barely made the overall time cutoff of 5 PM(start time for me was 8:37) My time was 8:15 the slowest and hardest half I ever did.

Did not get a brick - actually fell over about half way up the wall when my front wheel got caught in a crack. BUT my man crush Dave Scott (6 time Ironman World Champion) was there too and he did not make it up either (he was using a tribike with wrong gearing) Susan Williams is a beast, she went up sitting down!

Overall I am satisfied I survived, glad there was no medal, just a finishers T-Shirt. I loved the savage vibe of the whole race.

Will NEVER NEVER NEVER do it again (the race that is:)

Oh yeah, thanks to our digital world, I am immortalized on Youtube falling over

On the positive side, I think my elbow/collarbone/knees/ribs/scapula are healed enough from last years crash that there is a good chance I will try for FLA 2012 - You know an easy race - Just an Ironman
